Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon (regular-cut or thick-cut)
Optional for serving:
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Maple syrup drizzle
  • Eggs, toast, or avocado

Method

  1. Arrange bacon strips in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Cut strips in half if needed to fit without overlapping.
Set the air fryer to 350°F.
Cook according to your preferred texture:
Regular-cut bacon
  1. Slightly chewy: 7 minutes
    Crispy: 8 to 9 minutes
Thick-cut bacon
  1. Tender with crisp edges: 9 to 10 minutes
Extra crispy: 10 to 12 minutes
Carefully remove bacon using tongs and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
Let the bacon rest for 1 to 2 minutes. It will crisp slightly more as it cools.
If cooking additional batches, carefully drain excess grease from the tray before repeating.

  • Avoid overlapping slices for evenly cooked bacon.
  • Cooking time may vary depending on the air fryer brand and bacon thickness.
